The article can, like all basics, be sterilised in an autoclave and due to the skin friendliness of the material it is absolutely harmless to allergic persons. As a stretching beginner or as a pro this eyelet is definitely the right choice. The lightness and availability from 2.4, 3.2 and 4.0 up to 20.0 mm (in steps of 2) make this eyelet an absolute allround item, which is comfortable to wear.
